Fishing Overview

Spring is low and clear but we've got a fair amount of rain forecast tomorrow which will finally bump flows up. Long leaders and a good presentation will pay off. On warmer days sporadic BWO and midges will be on top. Small nymphs and egg patterns are the ticket to success nymphing. The streamer bite has been best in lower light and on cloudy days.
Please be aware of redds/spawning fish and DO NOT target them. Look out for clear patches of gravel, avoid those areas and help protect the amazing resource we all enjoy!

General Info

Specific Tips

Its time to bear down and get ready for "winter fishing". Early on look for lethargic fish in deeper slower pools. Later in the day when it warms up fish will move into faster runs to feed. On Spring there always a chance you'll see fish feeding on BWO's late morning. Sleep late, hit the creek at 1100!
Slumpies are a good choice with a bit more water.
