We are looking for Fishing Guides in Boiling Springs, PA

Our Boiling Springs shop sits a short walk from the Yellow Breeches with the Letort and Big Spring minutes away and the Susquehanna and Juniata close enough to float for smallmouth. We're looking for guides who know this water and want to spend their days sharing it.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong local knowledge of South Central PA water
• A reliable personal vehicle for trips.
• Patience and communication skills, and a real enjoyment of teaching anglers of all levels.

Nice to have:

• Experience rowing a drift boat or raft on big water.
• Warmwater and smallmouth experience on the Susquehanna or Juniata.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Prior guiding experience is not required. If you know this water and you're great with people, we want to hear from you.

Location: TCO Fly Shop, Boiling Springs, PA

Position Type: Part-Time (Weekday Availability Required)

Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team at our Boiling Springs, PA store. This position includes retail sales, customer service, inventory control, and collaborating with the team on educational programs. Requirements

• An open-minded attitude with the goal of learning and teaching others about fly fishing
• A team-player mentality, always striving to provide the best customer experience
• Flexible, year-round availability including some weekend hours (we do not hire seasonal employees)
• A solid understanding of fly fishing is required
• Basic knowledge of local fisheries is preferred
• Prior retail experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers on the sales floor
• Stocking and maintaining store inventory
• Merchandising, cleaning, and organizing the store, bathrooms, and backroom
• Tagging and pricing inventory
• Assisting with ordering and other general store maintenance
