Learn to tie some great pre-spawn smallmouth streamers! Caleb Rebarchak will help
you learn to tie up 3 of his favorite baitfish patterns for pre-spawn smallmouth. We will
also be discussing techniques and strategies for fishing each of these patterns. The
patterns we will be tying are: 

Patterns:  Cold-Water Nut, Ruch’s Nut Job/Leggy Peanut and Schultzy’s Swingin’ D

Additional information:

  • All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.    

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.
