Fishing Overview

The Little J is low and clear but we've got a fair amount of rain forecast tomorrow which will finally bump flows up. Small nymphs and eggs are doing well sub-surface. Streamers should move fish on cloudy days and early and late in the day.
Please be aware of redds/spawning fish and DO NOT target them. Look out for clear patches of gravel, avoid those areas and help protect the amazing resource we all enjoy!

General Info

Specific Tips

The Little J fish seem to love green anything, whether that be a streamer, a hotspot on a nymph, or the nymph itself.
Its time to recognize we are entering the winter fishing season. Look for fish early in day in slower but moving pools. Later in the day when and if things warm up they'll move into faster runs to feed. Sleep late, go to breakfast, and fish at 1100!
Winter can be a great time to be out on the streams. So get out there!
