Tulpehocken Creek

Tulpehocken Creek Stream Report

Date:

Water Level / Clarity: 411 CFS

Water Temp: 64 Degrees F

Fishing Overview

They Tully still on the high side but more fishable than it has been. It has good color and flow so expect normal early summer fishing.

Watch the water temperature out there. We are getting to the time of year where the Tully starts to heat up. Do not fish for trout if the water is over 65 degrees. Target carp or bass!!!

The Tricos are here and the fish are on them.

Nymphing and streamers are going to be your best bet at catching fish.

General Info

Specific Tips

Fish deep with a mayfly or caddis nymph with a smaller midge or emerger.
Don't be afraid to throw a streamer, small baitfish flies have been working as well as leach patterns. Dead drifting a woolly bugger and stripping it at the end of the drift is a deadly presentation.
With summer rapidly approaching get your thermometers out and check water temps before fishing. The water is perfect right now but in the next few weeks that water will start to get warm. 65 degrees F is the cutoff.
