Used Rod - Orvis Impregnated Battenkill 8' 4 5/8oz 8/9wt - Bamboo Fly Rod

This Orvis Impregnated Battenkill 8' Bamboo rod is super cool. This rod is for the old school dry fly fisherman who wants that feel and action of a bamboo rod. The serial number on this rod is 59832 and dates from around 1970. The rod is also in great condition, the cork has some wear but is in great shape, there are no cracks or blemishes in the varnish on the rod or the bamboo, and the guides are all super solid, no looseness to any of them. This is a two piece rod and it only has one tip, but the rod comes with the original rod sock and the aluminum tube. If you are looking for your first bamboo rod or looking to add another to the collection, this is a good one.
