There's really off season during the winter months since the nymphs are still active and the trout are still feeding. Join John Parisi, an Umpqua Signature Fly Tyer, Fly Fishing guide and our Bryn Mawr store manager, as he ties some of his favorite winter patterns and talks tactics with you so you can have confidence during the winter.   

  • All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.   

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.

Patterns: Duracell Jig, Pink Bead Walts, Sparkle Minnow Jig
