Join Treavor as he whips up some of his favorite wintertime trout slaying flies! He’ll be
covering the best sizes, styles and times to use these confidence patterns. We will also
be discussing techniques and strategies for fishing each of these patterns. The patterns
we will be tying are:

Additional information:

  • All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.    

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.
