Come learn to tie some intruder style wet flies fished on the swing with TCO's Connor McCoy. The Intruder is designed to provoke an aggression strike. It is a big, leggy, loud organism invading/intruding on the fish’s immediate personal territory. Connor will walk you through how to tie some of his favorites while sharing his techniques for fishing Intruders. 

Additional information:

  • All tying materials will be provided for students but bring your favorite vise and tools.    

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.
