Fly fishing the salt requires a different flies then many of us are used too. Come join Kyle Curry as he shows you how to tie some of his favorite Northeast saltwater flies that are built for the chaos of striper blitzes, bluefish blow-ups, and false albacore that'll test your knots - but first you need a well built fly to get that bite! Come learn to tie the patterns that make the boat ride, surf fishing or casting from jetty worth it.

  • All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.   

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.
