Dry dropper fishing is one of the most versatile and efficient ways to cover water, especially when trout are feeding in multiple lanes of the water column. The key is starting with a buoyant, visible dry fly that can support the weight of a nymph while still drifting naturally. That larger dry is not just an indicator, it is often a legitimate meal and a strike trigger on its own. Come join Kyle Curry and tie some of his favorite larger dry fly patterns so you are prepared.  

This class is for intermediate to advanced tiers only. All tying materials will be provided for the class. Students should bring their own vise and tools.
