TCO Fly Tying Class: Gunnar Brammer Musky Fly with Treavor - State College
If you've ever wanted to tie big, bold flies built for the most savage freshwater predator around - this class is for you.
This fly designed by Gunnar Brammer is a large streamer designed specifically for musky or pike - a fly that pushes water, moves seductively, and looks like a meal worth committing to. This pattern combines flash, bulk, and action in a way that triggers reaction strikes from fish that have seen everything. It is not a subtle fly. It is not meant to be!
Musky are called the fish of ten thousand casts for a reason. They are apex predators - territorial, intelligent, and built like a torpedo. When one follows your fly to the boat and you see that shadow materialize out of nowhere, your heart stops. When one actually eats it is violent, sudden, and unforgettable.
In this class you will learn to build the fly from the ground up - materials, proportions, articulation, and finishing and walk away with a fly ready to throw at potentially the biggest fish of your life.
