Beyond the Basics Fly Fishing School - Mini Guided Trip With Kyle
If you have mastered the introduction to fly fishing class TCO offered, we invite you on this mini guided fishing trip with Kyle Curry from TCO Bryn Mawr and Relentless Fishing Guide to put your knowledge into practice.
Kyle will patiently reinforce all the lessons and basic concepts you covered in the intro class. This 4-hour, small class, hands-on lesson allows ample time for all your questions to be answered and common fly casting problems to be corrected. Don't worry if you do not own a fly rod outfit, boots and waders - TCO is happy to provide a free rental to anyone enrolled
in this class but please let us know in advance and you must bring a valid PA fishing license.
Space is limited to 4 to allow for ample training. Cancellations will be in store credit. Rescheduling available based on future availability.
Location: TBD - Class is water flow and weather dependent.
Time: 9am - 1pm
The TCO Beyond the Basics School will consist of:
- Reading the water and where to cast
- If bugs are present, identification and matching your fly
- On the water casting
- Proper fly presentation
- How to set the hook properly to land that trout
- Proper river etiquette when there are others fisherman
