"This is a great low riding dry fly to use when fish are sipping blue winged olives in the fall.  CDC dry flies excel in flat glassy pools where fish tend to get picky.  I usually see olives hatching in the early afternoon and they seem to prefer overcast drizzly weather.  The rises can be very subtle so be patient when you’re looking for feeding trout."
