Diamondback Generation IV Nymph Fly Rod 11'1" 3wt

The Generation IV 11’1” 3wt is a fast recovery nymph rod suited to fishing jig streamers or large nymphs on large, wide rivers. This rod loads with a single 2.5mm bead nymph, but has a quick action best suited to manipulating larger flies and setting the hook with flies up to size #2. The 11’1” 3wt model will cast overhead well with a true 3wt fly line. It will also handle small indicators with nymph rigs, with maximum mending and line control and roll casting distance. This is a great rod model to choose when larger fish are in the mix on large, wide rivers and highly tactical applications are necessary.
