Levels on Penns have dropped and it'll be in great shape this weekend, today's rain will only add a bit of flow. Leaves can make getting a good drift tough this time of year, especially on those windy days. Topwater action has been sporadic with some ISO, caddis and BWO bring fish to the surface occasionally. Nymphing has been consistent with smaller patterns. The stream bite should be good in the coming weeks as fish are getting into pre-spawn mode.

General Information
Water temperatures on Penn's Creek can reach fatal levels for trout, especially below Cherry Run, where mid-day water temps can exceed 70 degrees. Regardless of where you fish on Penn's, carry a thermometer and consider calling it a day when water temperatures exceed 66 degrees, the fish will thank you later.
