Water Level / Clarity: Current level is 329 CFS, median is 340 CFS | RISING

Fishing Overview

Penn's Creek is on the rise with todays rain, will most likely be up and dirty for next few days. Nymphs have been productive and streamers will move fish. Water temps have dropped and most fish are done spawning, target the deeper slower runs on these cold days. Look out for redds and DO NOT target fish on spawning beds. The gauge does occasionally freeze on really cold days, so if you have any questions on the flows please call the shop.

Specific Tips

Stick with nymphs and streamers unless you see fish actively feeding on top. Smaller streamers tend to have a higher hookup rate. Getting back into Poe Paddy during winter can be tricky, watch out for ice and compacted snow on the back roads.
