Fly fishing has been a part of my life since day one—thanks to my dad. He had me out on the river before I could walk, strapped to his back in a backpack. Growing up in Maine, he even named us after his favorite fishing spots, so it’s safe to say I was immersed in the sport early on. Some of my best memories are skipping school in the spring to chase Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon in Rangeley, ME.
When my family moved to the coast, I swapped the freshwater for salt, and Striped Bass became my obsession. Whether I was fishing from a paddleboard in quiet coves or working the sandbar rips, I was always chasing that next big catch in the summer months.
Moving to Pennsylvania has reconnected me with trout fishing and the challenge of learning new waters. I’m excited to be a part of the TCO team and to continue learning and sharing my passion with others.
My next goals? Head out West, and eventually, to the tropics. The beauty of fly fishing is that it’s always evolving, and there’s always something new to chase. I’m lucky to be able to pursue it as a career and share that excitement with others.
Favorite Places to Fish
Fishing off the Cape has become my favorite spot because of its diverse ecosystems and constant challenges. The mix of tidal flats and deep rips creates a perfect habitat for many species, and the changing conditions always keep me on my toes. Chasing Albies in the fall is especially thrilling—fast-moving and rewarding. While I enjoy exploring new waters, the Cape’s beauty, variety of fish, and exciting action keep me coming back.
