What does TCO stand for?
TCO stands for Tulpehocken Creek Outfitters. 

Where is the Tulpehocken Creek?
Tulpehocken Creek is located outside Reading, PA.

When did TCO Fly Shop start?
TCO Fly Shop started in 1990 with the original TCO Reading location, which has since been renovated.

Where's Tony?
Tony Gehman started TCO in 1990, and has run the business from Reading, PA ever since. He may not be behind the TCO Reading counter as much anymore, but we can guarantee you've seen his handy work on TCO sticker designs, T-Shirts and Website updates. 

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
TCO Fly Shop, Inc will accept returns on most products within 30 days. The item MUST be unused and in NEW condition. We can not accept returns after 30 days unless approved by TCO Staff. To return an item, simply CLICK HERE with the reason for returning and we will assist you in processing the return.

How do I initiate a return?

How do you handle shipping for returns?
We will take the shipping charge out of your returns refund. 

Do I always have to pay for the return?
If the item purchased arrived damaged or you were shipped the wrong item, TCO will send a return label, free of charge.  If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, it didn't fit or not what was expected you will be charge a return label fee based on USPS postal rates.

Shipping and Inventory 

Where is TCO Fly Shop located?
TCO Fly Shop is Pennsylvania based fly fishing company.  We have locations in West Lawn (Reading). Bryn Mawr, State College & Boiling Springs.

Where does TCO Fly Shop ship from?
TCO Fly Shop ships from each our 4 locations in Pennsylvania. Depending on the items in your order, items may ship from several locations. 

What is your shipping policy?
TCO offers Free Economy Shipping (7-10 Business Days) with any online purchase (merchandise subtotal is calculated before sales tax and after coupons or promotions). 

Shipping surcharges on over-sized or extremely heavy items, such as Yeti, will still apply.  Orders typically ship from one of our 4 locations or our shipping partners within 24-48 hours after you purchase.  Some items shipped directly from the vendor may have longer delivery lead times. **International orders do not qualify for free shipping. 

What are your shipping rates?

  • Free Ground Shipping on order over $50 (5-7 Days)
  • Premium Shipping (3 Days) $39.95
  • Expedited  (1-2 Days) $49.95
    (Expedited Orders placed before 12pm will typically ship the same day with the exception of Friday orders. If an Expedited order is placed after 12pm on Friday, it will ship the following Monday as Expedited)

What if I want faster shipping?
If you need your items quicker, you can choose from our Premium (3 Day) $39.95 or Expedited (1-3 Days) for $49.95.

How do I know an item is in stock?
We track all of our inventory in real time through the same system that controls our website: so if the website will let you order the size and color you want, we have it!

On rare occasions, an inventory conflict will allow you to order a Sold Out item.  When those instances occur, we will attempt to reach you via e-mail to discuss options.  If we do not receive a reply in 3 days, we will refund the out of stock item and ship the rest of your order.
