
TCO Fly Tying Class: Introduction to Stonefly Nymphs at Bullfrog Brewery
Join TCO Fly Shop for our second tying class at Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport. This class will focus on Stoneflies, an abundant food source for trout in PA and a needed pattern for your box. This class is perfect for seasoned anglers and beginners alike and combines hands-on instruction with the opportunity to connect with fellow fly-fishing enthusiasts, grab a brew and tie some bugs.

All fly material will be provided for students to use. Please bring your vise and tools.

You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

You will leave the class equipped with the fundamental skills needed to expand the craft and flies in your box.
Instructor: Lenny Gilwa, Manager of our TCO Muncy location has been with TCO for a long, long time and has years of experience fishing for trout, smallmouth, and musky all over Central PA. Come learn to tie some of the most popular patterns used today.
Patterns: Olsen's Straggle Stone, Pat's Rubberleg Stone, Barr's Tungstone
