It's no secret that Blue Winged Olives are a staple in a trout's diet year round. Tyler will show you a few of his favorite BWO patterns and explain how he likes to fish them. This class will cover all life stages of these bugs and you will learn to tie the Juju Baetis (nymph), Barr's (Emerger), and the Sparkle Dun (Dry).

This class is for beginner/intermediate tiers, but advanced tiers are always welcome to join.  Although all materials will be provided for class, students are asked to bring their own vise and tools. If you do not have one, we can provide them for you.

What to bring:

  • Vise
  • Tools
  • Glues/Resins
  • Materials (If you have them)
  • Beverages 
If you do not have any of these items, we'd be happy to lend you one of ours for the duration of the class. If so, please notify us no later than 5 days before.
