Join us for a unique fly-tying event at Bluebird Distillery, where craft meets creativity in an inspiring atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the art, this event offers hands-on instruction and a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Enjoy the ambiance of the distillery, complete with handcrafted spirits to sip on as you tie your next masterpiece with TCO Fly Shop.  

  • All materials, vises, and tools will be provided for students to use. If you have your own vise and tools, feel free to bring them.

  • We've carefully chosen a set of tried and true patterns that will help you gain confidence on the stream that ties in nicely with the Bluebird Spirits.   

  • You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

  • We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

  • The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.

  • You will leave the class equipped with the fundamental skills needed to expand the fly tying craft, flies in your box as well as your whiskey palette!  

Patterns:  Three Bluebird themed bugs like the Breakwater Bugger, The Old Fashioned Streamer and finally the Phoenixville Pheasant Tail
