Friday May 1st - The Roamer 2.0 with Jake Villwock

"The Roamer is an all around predator fly, however it is my first choice for smallmouth bass. It is tied with UV enhanced flash, saddle hackles, and a bulk head made out of reverse tied laser dub to give it great movement in the water. Strip it hard and let it pause, watch it glide side to side just like a fluke. With a standard baitfish profile it can be used any time of the year and in any water conditions. It is tied on a 2/0 Partridge Predator hook for spring and fall smallmouth, and on a size 2 B10S Stinger hook for those low clear summer days. The 2/0 is roughly 4 inches in length and the size 2 is about 2.5 inches in total length." - Jake Villwock

Friday April 24th - Go To Flies with David Bower

These are some of my most effective confidence patterns in my box. They're both quick and easy to tie and they really get the job done. When approaching a new piece of water, I almost always have one or the other on the end of my line. Both can also be tied in different color variations in order to effectively "Match The Hatch".
