When you enter the land of waterproof packs, you usually enter a land of great compromise. A few welded compartments with very few additional features, if any, and very difficult access (zippers that require training and conditioning to open and close). With Umpqua's new line of ZS2 waterproof packs, they have focused on access and usability. By using different closures for different purposes (zippers and roll-tops where appropriate), combined with externalized features like fly storage, hemostat attachment and accessory attachment options, we believe they have created a system that can be made to work for any fly fisher's needs!
