Join Jake Villwock in this two-part class as he goes over all the nuances of tying is signature fly The Roamer. The Roamer has a pretty cool back story from its name to how it came about, Jake will discuss how and why each material is on the hook and how it makes the fly swim the way it does. He will be tying three variations on the Roamer, the Original, the Mini Saltwater version and the Triple / Articulated version. While tying these three different renditions, Jake will explain the minor changes in how each one is tied and why, color combos and what each one of these variations’ mimic in the wild. Before the class each student will receive a recipe sheet with a detailed photo and all the materials needed to tie each one.
