-Understanding bugs and how trout interact with them can be a daunting challenge. Join John Parisi for a comprehensive plan on handling the many local hatches we see in the area. Topics will include: 
  • Basic Insect ID and behavior
  • Aquatic Insect Lifecycle Stages
  • Identifying Key Lifecycle Stages
  • When to fish a nymph, when to fish a dry, and how to choose
  • Dry Dropper Tactics for covering the entire water column
  • Observation Tips and Tricks
This class will be held on Valley Creek, so please bring waders, boots, rods, reels, and weather-appropriate clothing. If you do not have any of these, please let us know in advance and we will provide them for you.
