| Jake: I have had the great pleasure of fishing the 590-4 Sage ONE for a while now and I have to say that it is one on my all-time favorite rods. From Eastern Pennsylvania trout streams, where presentation is key and light tippet is a must, to fishing the Madison River in Montana with large size 6 hoppers and heavy indicator rigs, the Sage ONE can do it all. In addition to fishing dry flies and nymphs, I’ve had this rod out on a few Smallmouth streams and rivers, throwing tungsten cone headed Zuddlers and oversized mouse patterns, and this rod has the power behind it to tackle these larger flies and powerful fish with ease.
