Adult Damsel
$1.75 - $1.95
Call or e-mail to learn more about the Adult Damsel.
Fluttering Blue Damsel
$2.95
amselflies are prolific near stillwater and in the summer can be seen skimming the surface of lakes and ponds all over the country. Fish love these stillwater flies. When one sits on the water just a bit too long, it's a sure bet if a fish is near, it's coming after it. Bass, blue gills, trout, all will take a damsel fly in a second. If you see damsels flying, put this fly on.
Hot Head Damsel
$1.95
No stillwater box would be complete without a good damselfly nymph. Large trout and bass alike love the easy meal they provide, and the Hot Head Damsel is a great imitation that will draw vicious strikes.
Jans Dragon
$2.50
While dragonflies are not high on the trout feeding schedule, their young nymphs are available to trout and other species in slow or stillwater. This is a great little dragonfly nymph imitation pattern and should be fished dead drift or with short jerks. Dragonfly nymph pattern in natural.
Living Damsel
$2.50
During the summer when damselflies are darting across still water ponds and lakes, they can be a clue to some of the best fishing around. If you see them, never hesitate to use damselfly patterns whether dry or a nymph. This pattern is a great one for fishing just under the surface.
Martineau Dragon Slayer
$2.95
Vermont-based master fly tier Gary Martineau is a former research biologist for Vermont Fish & Wildlife, as well as a lifelong fly fisher. His Martineau Heavy Stonefly pattern was the best-selling fly in the history of the Orvis News, and the Dragon Slayer is simply the latest in his long line of effective big fish patterns.
Mikes Fuzzy Niblet
$2.95
It's hard to beat a standard damselfly pattern when it comes to stillwater fishing—unless you've tied on a Mike's Fuzzy Niblet. Perfect for imitating damselflies, or for use as an attractor, it's an extremely effective lake fishing pattern.
