Join former Fly Fishing Team member and two
time national fly fishing champion, George Daniel
for three days along Pennsylvania’s finest
limestone streams during the first ever TCO
Nymphing Master class. This class is the first
of its kind in this region to focus on the underwater
game for three straight days. Class topics will
include:
· Nymphing Tools-essential equipment,
gear, and rigs for various nymphing systems.
· Stream Entomology and Hydrology
· Casting nymphing rigs
· Techniques from around the globe (e.g.
French, Czech, traditional high sticking) to
deal with various stream conditions.
· Essential patterns and pattern types
to meet just about any stream condition.
The class headquarters will
be located at Longmeadow B&B, a beautifully
restored home along the banks of the Fishing
Creek situated in historic village of Logan
Mills. Part of the on stream classroom topics
will be conducted on Fishing Creek. However,
to demonstrate and practice tactics for all
water conditions, participants will also be
fishing Spring Creek, Penns Creek and possibly
the Little Juanita River. Note: current stream
conditions (i.e. levels and temperatures) will
determine fishing locations. Participants will
be responsible for their own travel to stream.
Each student will also
receive a DVD copy of actual class showing both
instructor and participant demonstrations for
future reference along with a copy of the PowerPoint
presentation including patterns and illustrations.
Note: Refunds will only be granted
in the form of credit towards other classes
or merchandise, and at the approval of TCO Fly
Shop.
