Sept 23-25
Join former Fly Fishing Team member and two
time national fly fishing champion, George Daniel
for three days along Pennsylvania’s finest
limestone streams during the first ever TCO
Nymphing Master class. This class is the first
of its kind in this region to focus on the underwater
game for three straight days. Class topics will
include:
· Nymphing Tools-essential equipment,
gear, and rigs for various nymphing systems.
· Stream Entomology and Hydrology
· Casting nymphing rigs
· Techniques from around the globe (e.g.
French, Czech, traditional high sticking) to
deal with various stream conditions.
· Essential patterns and pattern types
to meet just about any stream condition. |

October 8th - TCO Reading
We have all read how effective
nymphing can be on your favorite water... but
yet so many are intimidated to learn how to
properly nymph fish. Nymphing can be an effective
technique if you understand a few basic concepts
(i.e. pattern selection, general approach, and
presentation). The purpose of this class is
to get you to that level!
This class is designed for the beginner as well
as the advanced fly fisher. George will cover
everything from basic stream entomology to understanding
what a natural drift for nymphing looks like.
Even the experienced nymph fisher will pick
up a few useful nymphing tips. The skills acquired
at this school will carry over to any stream
condition you find yourself fishing

Private lessons are popular for
anglers who want to fine tune their skills with
an instructor.
The one on one atmosphere allows the angler
to develop their own agenda by discussing their
specific needs with the instruction prior to
the lesson. George will then develop a classroom
setting (inside or outside) to meet those exact
needs. Private lessons can range from casting
fundamentals to European nymphing.
Rates: $300 (1 or 2 anglers)

Beginner
Fly Fishing Schools (click

Join TCO as
we cover everything you need to get started
in the exciting world of fly fishing through
our time tested teaching curriculum. Our instructors
will patiently explain and educate you on
the basic concepts and fundamentals of casting,
fly selection, entomology, reading the water
and knot tying. The 6 hour hands-on lesson
allows ample time for all your questions to
be answered and common fly casting problems
to be corrected. Don't worry if you do not
own a fly rod outfit, TCO is happy to provide
a free rental to anyone enrolled in our Beginners
School. We will also provide refreshments
during the day. PA fishing license is required.
