Advance Nymph
Tying Techniques February
6, 2010
Nymphs
are found in a variety
of shapes from the
fast water clingers
like the march brown,
the swimming isonychia
and baetis nymphs
to the big stoneflies
and each can be
tied in a manner
to emphasize the
key differences
between them. In
this class we will
go far beyond the
basic nymph techniques
and teach how to
make very life-like
stonefly imitations
and mayfly nymphs
that look and behave
like the naturals.
A class recommended
for intermediate
to advanced level
tyers.
