The Ausable River,
located outside of Lake Placid NY, is one of the most famous
rivers in the United States. Located in the heart of Adirondacks,
The Ausable River system produces some of the finest fishing
in the East. The river has something for everyone, from heavy
pocket water, productive rolling riffles, long glides and slow
pools all loaded with fish. The Ausable River boasts heavy hatches
that are strong from May through September. This is large and
complex water so check with the shop for local conditions or
work with our Guide Staff to learn the water and river tactics.
Located in Reading,
PA, The Tulpehocken Creek, aka The "Tully", is one
of the finest tailwater fisheries in the East. The river is
easy to wade, loaded with fish including many fish over 20"
and has consistently heavy hatches of caddis, midges and tricos
that last all summer long. Even the "smaller" fish will run
you all over the river. Go with one of TCO's experienced guides
to unlock the "Tully" small fly secrets for trout OR try something
completely new and target HUGE Carp on a fly rod including daily
chances throughout the summer to catch Carp on dry flies!
