Ron has demonstrated tying his favorite bass patterns for shops and events throughout the Northeast, most recently at the
Fly Fishing Show in Somerset, NJ.

Walt Young was the first writer for Pennsylvania Outdoor Times in 1992 and has been Managing Editor for over 4 years. An award-winning fly tier, his tying skills have earned him multiple state championships in PA & NJ. During his years on the water in central Pennsylvania as a fly fishing guide, Walt has developed "simple-but-effective" patterns.
