The Philadelphia angling community has patiently awaited the rebirth of a classic. Tony Gehman, owner of TCO Fly Shop (Tulpehocken Creek Outfitters), Reading, Pennsylvania is proud to announce the opening of TCO Main Line Philadelphia in the former Eyler’s Fly and Tackle location.

The interior of the 895 Penn Street location has been completely remodeled. From loose drawings on napkins to scaled drawings to finish carpentry, the TCO team has worked tirelessly to create a bright, comfortable, inviting atmosphere that showcases the exciting array of gear, gadgets and gifts. But the primary focus throughout the process has been and will always be on the customer.
As Tony put it, "I have always lived my life believing that you are an extension of those whom you hold close and those that share your similar passions."

TCO is dedicated to preserving the 60-year legacy of strong, honest client relationships and service reputation that was so important to Alice and Tom. So, TCO Main Line will continue to be an angler’s haven for conversation, information, and of course some healthy grousing.

TCO Main Line brings together the familiar classic product lines with the state of the art technology that is the future of fly fishing. 895 Penn Street will be your place to connect with the touchstones of fly fishing and discover the next generation of gear and equipment.

TCO Travel will be new to your 895 Penn Street experience. TCO is an experienced outfitter and will be teasing your travel taste buds with trips and travel, day trips and destinations including exotic locations and your own backyard. We promise you won’t have more fun fishing with anyone else.

The TCO Training Camp will offer lessons, workshops and demonstrations on every aspect of the fly fishing experience. Classes in and around the shop will be plentiful and convenient. But learning on the water is paramount to improving your fishing IQ. TCO agrees with those who said, ”Watching a good caster or angler on a stream will teach you more in 20 minutes that you can learn reading 20 pages.” Time on the water is the best teacher. TCO offers learning opportunities for anglers of all ages and levels of experience.
